... I could live in a space that was this "cool" and seemingly "uncomplicated." I want to be up in that loft, looking down on a beautifully designed, flawless, open dwelling and pretend that life could be this neat, simple and dreamy. BUT, for me I think this is only in a "dream!" I find myself looking for inspiration on all of the channels now available to us and I come away thinking that I WILL NEVER LIVE LIKE THIS and feel more inadequate than inspired. I KNOW the point is to not see the every day in these images, but I really tend to like it more when it is believable. When I personally am contemplating a design, I have to take into consideration the way a space is lived in and make it life friendly and design friendly. I think the combination of good design and attainable design is so key.   My life is filled with life's daily mess that I call home with stains on furniture, floors that show dirt, crayons, paper cuttings, remnants of last nights play performance and dinner. So when all is said and done and I re-think what is it is that I "wish" for in my living space, I realize I may already have it.
