First let me say that I am NOT getting a permanent store space YET, but if I did, below are my top 3 choices that are located in Peninsula, Ohio in the Cuyahoga National Park near Hudson. The first is my very favorite and I know would host the ultimate garage sale! I have to give kudos to my husband for composing this shot. It was his idea and he is so proud. It is one of my favorite photos my family has ever taken. The second photo is a general store next door to the garage and the porch and architecture are stunning. The third a beautiful barn that for obvious reasons could be killer for selling, but my barn is hard to compete with. The photos were taken by Natalie Metzger of Matt and Nat Photography and she is amazing. I LOVE them! I think that if I "vibe" enough on the first photo the stars will align to allow me to use the space! :)! Channeling "the law of attraction"! ;) On a side note, the bottom one was used as our Christmas card! Have a wonderful day everyone. I hope you are all merry making! :)
Brian Bishop
Running for a Good Cause /
So on top of all the insanity and the craziness of our life at the Bishop household, I have to give a shout out to my husband Brian. He is going to run his first marathon, the Cleveland Marathon, on May 20th to raise money for cancer research. I am so very proud of him and after so many years of his "over-achieving" I think this takes the cake! It is such a major commitment and we are all cheering him on.
Brian is running for an amazing cause and his motivation is very personal. He is raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, which funds blood cancer research. Brian chose this particular group to support because he lost two very important people in his life to cancer.
Brian is also running in memory of his grandpa, who died at 92. His grandfather was such a great man and he is really missed, too.
Our local paper did a story on him in yesterday's paper. In the article there's a cute picture of the girls with Brian and a sign they made after he got home from a 17 mile run. Can you imagine running 17 miles even once? I don't like running one mile and he has to do it multiple times before he is ready for race day.

Brian's best friend Jeff was just 24 when he passed away. Brian was given Jeff's favorite NY Yankees hat (a hat that he and I wear all the time) and he will wear it on race day to honor Jeff. Jeff was one of our favorite people and we miss him so much.
If you would like to make a donation, click here. Every bit helps. Brian has set a goal of $8,000 and I know we can get there.
