Nate is such a sweetheart and my competition, Hannah Flora is truly talented. I really did like what she created!

Hey Homies! Remember last year when my sister Susie and I were on the Nate Berkus Show decorating rooms with finds we picked up at the World's Longest Yard Sale? Well cutie-pie Nate asked me back (we blogged a little teaser here) and the show airs this coming Monday, May 14th. I know!! So fun.

In January, Brian and I packed up the Homegirl cruiser and headed back to NYC.


I don't want to give too much away, but the premise for this appearance was City Style vs. Country Style. Yes, I was the country girl. Could it be because I run Homegirl out of my barn in Ohio?!

Me and my competition were given a trunk and a bed (see pic below) and $500 to pick up furnishings/decor that needed a little DIY love.


It was such a whirlwind. I had an amazing time and had to pinch myself over and over again as I was tooling around the CBS studios. I just felt so lucky to be back!


Poor Brian, this is what he felt like he did our entire trip! Girls are expensive, especially in NYC. (And remember, I love SHOES! Of course I had to get a new pair while I was there.)


Anyway, like I said, the show airs Monday, May 14th and I am excited... and nervous... to watch my episode. Check it out locally on Channel 43 (WUAB) at 10:00 am and let me know what you think of my room design. (Here's a station finder for Nate's show if you aren't in the Cleveland area.)
