Country Living Fair by Gina Bishop

Yesterday, Judith and I played in the barn in preparation for the Country Living Fair! This will be the best year ever; we are coming back refreshed and very excited! The Homegirl Shop will be participating in the COLUMBUS Country Living Fair; September 12-14, 10AM-5PM. Buy a ticket and come visit us! Also, this year we will not be in our usual space, we have moved locations, so be on the look out!

DIY Butterfly Wreath by Gina Bishop

Materials:
-Grape Vine Wreaths
-Wire
-Ribbon with Wire
-Burlap Ribbon with wire
-Faux Flowers
-Large Stick with Antennas (that can easily be found in your backyard!)

Lay out your grape vine wreaths. I put the larger size on the top and the smaller size on the bottom, to better imitate butterfly wings. Using wire, connect four wreaths together. Take a trek in your back yard to find a perfect stick with antennas! I wrapped the body of  mine in wired burlap ribbon. Using wired ribbon, I tied the stick to the wreaths, connecting in two locations, top section and bottom section. When your butterfly is complete, you can embellish with your favorite faux flowers! A friend of mine made burlap felt flowers, so I snuck two of those on my butterfly as well! Feel free to get creative!

All supplies can be found at your local craft store. There are many different Grape Vine Wreath sizes; I ended up making 3 different butterflies. One large, one medium, and one small. They worked perfectly as visual displays for my Barn Sale!
