Decorating Your Home with DIY Style by Gina Bishop

This is for locals only but open to the general public so please join us...
Hudson Preschool Parents presents “Decorating Your Home with DIY Style” on Tuesday, January 17th at 10 a.m. in the Hudson Library’s Flood Room at 96 Library Drive. Hudson’s own “Homegirl” Gina Bishop (that would be me) and Bessie Zinz (So You Think You Are Crafty, Season 9 Winner and Homegirl vendor, Besserina) will be presenting some exciting things to liven up your home decor. This program is going to have ideas that will inspire everyone from the most basic all the way to the much more experienced crafters. It is open to the general public and childcare will be provided to members that sign up for the service ahead of time. For more information, contact Angela Bateman at programs@hudsonpreschoolparents.org.

If you are not familiar with Bessie, feel free to check out her blog before the program. She is very talented and creative! http://www.besserina.blogspot.com

Beach Fun by Gina Bishop

Ahhhh the beach! What fun we had and how LUCKY are we that we get to go back for another 5 days??? I love the picture I took of the girls with the flowers in their hair. My little flower children. They are growing up so fast and I wish time would stand still. I cannot believe school is back in session in 4 weeks. I hope you all are enjoying your time with your families!

Homegirl goes to the Country Living Fair by Gina Bishop

Please come see Homegirl at the Country Living Fair in Columbus, Ohio held at the Ohio Fairgrounds historic village on Septmeber 18, 19 and 20. There are 300 vendors, great food and really neat workshops offered by the magazine's favorites. If you would like more information go to http://www.countryliving.com/ and type in the "Country Living Fair 2009" for more information on the event and to see a list of other vendors you may recognize. They come from all over the country and the offerings are sweet! Bloomsbury Loft (who joined me for my last sale) will also be a vendor you will want to see!!! I went last year as a buyer and enjoyed my day with my friend (and our warm blackberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream ;)! I'm looking most forward to that this year!
